What is BARF?

The BARF (Biologically Appropriate RAW Food) diet is raw and complete food, in the same shape, balance and quantity that our pets would receive in their natural environment. It contains all the necessary ingredients and nutrients - meat, organs, bones, fruits, vegetables and oils. If we want our four-legged friends to reach their genetic potential in terms of health, longevity, physical activity and reproduction, their diet must resemble their evolutionary method of eating.

"BARF IS THE MOST SUITABLE DIET FOR DOGS AND CATS ACCORDING TO THEIR BIOLOGICAL SPECIES."

Why BARF?

Dogs and cats were domesticated 15,000 years ago. However, they have not adapted to process cooked food, kibble and canned food. Their digestive system is designed to digest raw food. Their teeth, jaws, and digestive physiology prove that they are designed to accept meat, organs, and bones.

What do we use?

Meat

Raw meat is an indispensable part of an overall healthy diet and a major source of energy. It contains proteins, amino acids, fats and water-soluble vitamins.

Authorities

Internal organs are a vital part of the food of dogs and cats. Secreting organs, such as kidneys, liver, heart are beneficial ingredients in the BARF diet and provide essential minerals and water-soluble vitamins.

Liver

The liver contains vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K, biotin, folacin, choline and inositol. It is an excellent source of zinc, manganese, selenium and iron. It provides quality proteins and essential fatty acids, both of the omega-3 and omega-6 types.

Kidneys

The kidneys are a source of quality proteins, essential fatty acids and many vitamins, including all fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. They are rich in iron, zinc, B vitamins.

Heart

Like the liver and kidneys, the heart is an excellent source of protein, B vitamins and iron. It contains some essential fatty acids, vitamin A and taurine.

Bones

Soft, raw edible bones are an important component of BARF diets. They provide the necessary nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, minerals, bone marrow, natural antioxidants and enzymes.

Green tripe*

Green tripe is the stomach of ruminants in raw, unprocessed form and is the best natural probiotic. The gastric juices in it are full of digestive enzymes and beneficial bacteria. They help digest food, improve metabolism, hormonal function, and strengthen the immune system.

Vegetables

Dogs are omnivores and need a higher percentage of vegetables in their raw diet, unlike cats, which are strictly carnivores. Vegetables supply fiber, omega 3 essential fatty acids, enzymes, antioxidants, phytochemicals and many vitamins.

Fruit

Fruits in moderation are extremely beneficial for our pets. They are a complete food that is a source of a lot of fiber, vitamins A, vitamin C, enzymes, antioxidants and minerals.

Benefits of BARF

The truth about granulated food?

The granules were highly popularized at the end of World War II because of their convenience, ease of distribution and low cost. They are an inexpensive substitute for natural pet nutrition and are compared to Junk Food. The granules dehydrate the body because of the low water content. And undergoing a heat treatment process, they change their molecular composition and lose their nutritional value.

  • Waste products;
  • Carbohydrates and starch;
  • Highly processed ingredients;
  • Dyes, chemicals, preservatives and stabilizers.

In addition to low-quality ingredients, many forms of toxins are introduced into the body of our pets. As a result, the number of dogs and kittens that suffer from problems with the kidneys, pancreas and liver is increasing, and the number of cancers continues to grow.

Granulated food is a major cause of chronic degenerative and autoimmune diseases, as well as food allergies.
